For deans of studies, programme directors and student-success teams
See the week a section starts to slip. See the week the deadlines pile up. Nothing about any student.
Latte gives an institution two views its LMS cannot: early disengagement by section and by week, and assessment load across every course of a programme. Both are computed from what students already hold in Latte, aggregated over groups of five or more, and read by staff without any data entry.
Aggregated by design.
No reporting screen, export or endpoint accepts a student-level dimension. Any group smaller than five students is suppressed on the server, not hidden in the interface. Every signal describes a section; none describes a person. Support is requested by the student, never triggered by the institution.
What the pilot delivers
Early disengagement, from week 3.
Per section and per week: the share of the cohort that has opened nothing, planned nothing or fallen behind across courses, routed to the staff who coach that section. A student who is behind can request your institution's own support in one tap. You see how many requests and when, never from whom.
The assessment-load map.
Every course's deadlines on one programme, week by week, flagged against thresholds you set, with a what-if view for moving a date.
The workload meter.
Planned workload beside the workload students report in a one-tap weekly pulse, expressed against the 25–30 hours per ECTS credit norm: to instructors mid-semester, and at semester end as evidence for accreditation and programme review.
The pilot delivers these three views on one programme. Later modules add per-assignment rules for assessed work and a project-course view for teaching assistants.
What Latte is not.
- Not a tutor.
- Not a list of at-risk students.
- Not an LMS replacement.
- Not a scraper of your Moodle.
- Not a feed.
- Not a channel students must visit.
Governed from day one.
- Data hosted in Switzerland/EU
- Data-processing agreement
- Minimum group size of five, enforced server-side
- Audit trail of every institutional action
- Transparent billing; pilot fee credited on conversion
Any assistance inside the student app is labelled and guardrailed. It never produces answers to assessed work.
One programme, one semester, one published result.
- You select the programme and co-sign the evaluation design.
- You recommend Latte to that cohort at Welcome Day and in the section's channel.
- The signals are live from week 1; you review them weekly.
- At semester end the licence converts on the pilot's own results, or it does not.
€1.50 per seat for the semester, credited in full if you convert — or research-funded through an innovation cheque or a lighthouse programme.

Not the decision-maker?
Students can ask their institution to cover every seat. The request is one prewritten email, sent from the app.
